Wine Steals

Point Loma is our second location. We were lucky enough to find an historic building right on a newly refurbished nine hole executive golf course. The building with its redwood beams, vaulted ceilings, and dozens of windows shows it's status as a historic building. Located in Liberty Station (the old Naval Training Center) it is surrounded by parks, waterways and ancient pines. This was our first location to offer a full pizzeria with Napoli style thin crust pizzas along with wraps, salads and antipasto boards. The success of the kitchen drove us to add it to our past and future locations. The cool breezes keep you cool in the heat of the summer and our ample patio heaters keep you warm in the mild San Diego winters. Visit the Wine Steals Website     Location

Jimmy's Famous American Tavern

The idea for Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern, or JFAT, grew out of the early tavern tradition that had its initial roots in Renaissance England and the sprouted up in New England states. The early versions were primarily ”drinking establishments” offering up a limited array of food, sometimes of dubious quality. But they became social havens for locals and travelers alike that offered comfort and camaraderie. At the core of our concept is still based upon great brews and cocktails, but we wanted it to be a modern day interpretation….to create a social gathering place that serves both great drinks but also great food. A casual, comfortable, yet sophisticated neighborhood place great for a quick lunch, relaxing dinner or celebration with friends for any occasion. Visit the Jimmy's World Famous Tavern Website     Location

Corvette Diner

Black and white checkered floor, chrome accented counters and real soda fountains fill the two-tiered dining room, with a shiny, vintage corvette on display in the center. Waitresses don huge wigs and display impressive pin collections on their aprons, and their colorful personalities are exaggerated during impromptu song-and-dance routines whenever Rock Around The Clock cranks on the juke box. In classic 1950s diner style, every burger is named for a pretty lady and the milkshake section is the longest on the menu. Chicken fingers and mac 'n cheese please the kiddos, which make up the bulk of the clientele, and parents will delight in a decent salad selection. After dessert, watch out for flying Bazooka bubble gum at your table as the check arrives. Visit the Corvette Diner Website     Location
